The 30-day rule

Why you know before anyone

01

The insurer must warn the government

Federal rule 49 CFR 387.313(d): an insurer cancelling a motor carrier's policy must file notice with FMCSA 30 days in advance. The notice — with the exact cancellation date — is public record the day it lands.

02

We catch the filing same day

Our pipeline pulls every new cancellation filing from FMCSA daily, joins it with the carrier census for phone numbers and addresses, flags the urgent ones, and verifies data freshness before anything ships.

03

You call a carrier on a deadline

The carrier must replace coverage before the date or legally park their trucks. You're not cold calling — you're calling someone with a federal clock running and a problem you solve.

The math

One policy pays for years of this

  • A closed trucking policy is worth $1,500–4,000/yr in commission.
  • This costs $99/mo.
  • Close one policy a year and you're 15–40× ahead. Most agents working X-dates close more than one.

15–40×

89%

of carriers that lose coverage don't refile for weeks

Mid-term cancellations are usually non-payment — they can't legally haul until someone writes them. We surface every one in your state, the day it happens.

Questions

Straight answers

Where does the data come from?

FMCSA public records. Federal rule 49 CFR 387.313(d) requires insurers to file a notice with FMCSA 30 days before cancelling a motor carrier's policy. We pull every new filing daily, join it with the carrier census for contact info, and deliver it to you the same afternoon.

How is this different from Carrier411 or DAT?

Those are monitoring platforms where X-dates are a buried feature. This is one job done completely: every pending cancellation, with phone numbers, in your inbox before your competitors know the policy is dying. No portal to log into, no per-lookup pricing.

What exactly do I get every day?

A digest email for your states: carrier legal name, city, phone, current insurer, the exact date coverage dies, and days remaining. New leads first, urgent ones flagged. Full list attached as CSV for your dialer or CRM.

What if my state has slow weeks?

Volume varies by state. If nothing new came in, we skip the email instead of padding it. Mondays you get a territory summary either way. You can switch states once per billing period.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. Close one policy in your first month or get your money back — one commission pays for years of this. And the trial is 7 days, cancel anytime from the customer portal linked in every email.

Is this affiliated with FMCSA?

No. We build on public FMCSA records but are not affiliated with FMCSA, any government agency, or any insurer.
