XDate Alert is a focused tool for trucking insurance agents: every pending FMCSA insurance cancellation in your states, delivered by email each day, built directly on the live federal data.
Who runs it
XDate Alert is built and run by Henri Hallik. The product exists because the public data behind trucking insurance leads is real but unforgiving to work with — especially after FMCSA retired its legacy Licensing & Insurance system and moved to the MOTUS platform in May 2026. Henri built the ingestion pipeline directly against FMCSA’s public MOTUS datasets, tested each federal endpoint the product depends on, and writes the guides on this site from that hands-on work rather than from press releases.
The editorial standard here is simple: every claim about filings, deadlines, and regulations is checked against primary sources — the Code of Federal Regulations and FMCSA’s own published data — and each guide lists those sources. Where the public data has traps (a frozen legacy feed that still looks fresh, undocumented schema changes), the guides say so plainly, because getting that wrong is exactly what costs an agent a lead.
What XDate Alert does
Under 49 CFR 387.313, an insurer cancelling a motor carrier’s required liability coverage must notify FMCSA at least 30 days in advance, and that notice is public the day it is filed. XDate Alert reads those filings from the live MOTUS datasets every day, filters them to your states, attaches carrier phone numbers from the federal census, and emails you the pending cancellations — with a freshness gate that refuses to send if the federal feed goes stale.
